I'm back in Hostelworld. Was hoping that I wouldn't have to come back here. You get used to having your own room and not having to tiptoe about. It's a short term visit this time because we were approved for the house we wanted! Yay! Just need a move in date and we're good to go.
In the meantime, we get to share in the laughs at the happenings in the common rooms, bunk up with friends and shake our heads in disbelief at some of the people up in this place!
This last weekend and stretching right through tomorrow is Laura's send off. Friday had the promise of a bar hop and karaoke booked at 2am, we knew we were in for some laughs along the way. We ended up at some bar where I felt like I needed to break out my granny sweater. Apart from the staff, I was (or was close to being) the oldest one there. Even the music being played was from when I was in highschool and it was, *sniff*, considered retro!!! When did I get so old?! Dinner, cake & ice cream last night, and we shall soon see what tonight brings.
Benefit to being in the city centre again - there's actual stuff to do and only a few steps away. I guess I should get out there! It's sunny in Melbourne again!
