The last week was 60% stress and 40% relief. Stress that I wasn't gonna get it all done, relief that it didn't really matter because my actions don't lead to life or death in the workplace. If it does, somebody better let me in on it!
I had the pleasure of having a get together almost each night (and a lunch out in the rain!) with friends and colleagues to get our last chats in, bits of gossip and really good laughs. It's nice to know that someone cares enough to take time out of their day to say nice things about you. Thanks to those who wished me well, gave a toast, or sang an Abba song... Without getting out of control cheesy, I really do appreciate it even if it does make me blush in a ridiculous shade of red! And that was before the hugging began!
