I'm a very lucky girl. I have great friends that care enough about me to take time to wish me a bon voyage and surprise me in the process.
First stop - Friday night with my best friends Sabrina and Tania. Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls stopping for dinner at the Keg. Apart from it being warmer on the street then in the restaurant, my steak and Keg sized Strawberry Daiquiri were a welcomed treat. Lemme tell you, I love a flirty slot machine. Give a little cash and it gives a little something back... After a bit of fun there we went back to the hotel and they surprised me with a cake and going away gift. I had to take a picture and as soon as I figure out how to get it off my cell phone, I'll share it with you. Morning buffet breakfast and another try at the slots before heading home... great fun even with the late night and EARLY wake up call!
Saturday afternoon was supposed to be a quiet get together with Syma. Dinner for two... so why was it a table for 6 that we were being seated at? I don't do surprises. This time they got me! I think I'll still be full in a week from the ginormous meal at Peter's - yum. Thank you Syma, Daniela, Margaret and Jackie for coming out in torrential downpour! Gorgeous roses, fun giftcards, a travel survival pack with all the necessities. And of course the lovely Hugh... hopefully I'll find me one of those treats over there! ;)
